My Favorite CFB Futures 2024
College Football is almost upon us, and that means it’s time for all you gamblers to make some money. Here is a list of my absolute favorite CFB Futures. (All odds are from Draft Kings)
National Title Future
The easy bet: Georgia +300
Look Georgia top to bottom has easily the best roster in the country. They have the most complete defense and if Carson Beck can continue to play the way he did last year, I have no doubt Georgia will return to the top of CFB.
Bigger Odds: Oregon +800
Oregon has never won a national title, but this roster is elite. Dillon Gabriel, Jordan James, Tez Johnson… the offense is going to put up points. The defense is also very very good. Not to mention I think they have one of the best coaches in the country in Dan Lanning. I think this Oregon team is dangerous and a serious title contender.
Heisman Trophy Future.
Jalen Milroe +1400
Milroe is the complete package as a college football QB. He has unreal arm strength combined with unreal speed. He is just as much of a cheat code on the field in real life as he is in NCAA 25. I think Kalen DeBoer is a fantastic coach, who will make the Alabama offense more fun than we ever saw under Nick Saban. (this is not a shot at the GOAT, just different offensive styles, philosophies, etc) With that being said I think that Milroe is going to put up NUMBERS on a winning team. If I was a gambling man, I’d certainly sprinkle on this +1400 line.
To Make the Playoffs Futures.
The easy bet: Missouri +175
This roster is returning so many studs, including quarterback-wide receiver duo Brady Cook and Luther Burden. To replace Cody Schrader, they brought in Georgia State transfer Marcus Carroll who ran for 1300+ yards last season. Their defense is returning around 58% of its production as well. This team is free money at plus odds to me, especially with 12 teams making it.
Bigger Odds Kansas +600
This Kansas team is probably the team I want to see succeed the most in 2024. Not only do I want them to succeed but I think they will. Jalon Daniels and Devin Neal might be the best backfield in the country. They’ve turned around the program and in their final year, I would expect them to make a push for glory. Kansas is really only competing with Kansas State, and Arizona this season in the Big 12. If they can make it by those two teams or at least make the conference championship game I like their shot for the playoffs.
Here’s to hoping you all make some money this college football season.
